One year ago, each of us suffered an overwhelming personal and collective tragedy: the world lost Michael Jackson. On the sad anniversary, we feel it necessary to COME TOGETHER in person to share the L.O.V.E. that held us together for a year. AS ONE, TO SHOW MICHAEL THAT WE HAVE HELD HIS MESSAGE IN OUR HEARTS, TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT MICHAEL JACKSON IS FOREVER LOVED, HONORED, AND REVERED.
For many of us, the past year has been a year of devastating grief. Seeking solace from strangers we shared memories, grief, laughter, anger, tears, and music together. We held hands and exchanged hugs in our posts. Comforting words and lovely encouragement were only a click away. And yes, we have even exchanged a few angry and bitter words dealing with our grief in ways only we understood. Without you, this year would have been impossible. But with you, together, we have grown through the pain, anquish and tears. It was also a year of spiritual awakening: we have grown in our knowledge and love of one great human being whom we love and admire so deeply. We have learned to be more compassionate, loving and caring, more aware and sensitive, more concerned about our world and those who live in it, following Michael’s message.
The Vigil will be held at MJ’s Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame:.

It would be an opportunity for the forum members and other fans to meet before the Forest Lawn pilgrimage. We suggest that forum members wear special badges to recognize each other (the link to the badge template will be given to you later.)
Bring candles, flowers, pictures and posters. There will be a card for you to sign that will be given to Michael’s kids.

SO HURT AT THE FACT THAT I AM ALL THE WAY IN MIAMI FL. AND CAN NOT BE A PART OF EITHER VIGIL!!! I WILL BE PRAYIN FOR ALL OF YOU THAT ARE ABLE TO MAKE IT…. AND WOULD ONLY REQUEST THAT SOMEONE PLACE A FLOWER ON HIS STAR FOR ME IN MY NAME…. SO HURT!!!
